New Studio Space Opening at St. Luke

We are excited to announce Art-A-Go-Gogh's first host site, St. Luke United Methodist Church in Clarksville. A closed daycare facility is being transformed into a community arts center, where for 6 months, our artists will have the opportunity to create and to serve as catalysts for neighborhood transformation.

A team of artists is being selected and will be assigned to this studio. Artists will use this studio to engage in Imagine Art classes and to receive one-on-one art instruction that supports our 3rd Trimester curriculum of exhibitions and micro-business development. Selected artists will also be given additional opportunity to help pilot an Art-A-Go-Gogh residency track. This track will train and support artists through service learning as they step into the role of Artists in Residence at St. Luke. They will offer community workshops and special events to engage the Clarksville neighbors and the St. Luke's congregation. If you are interested in supporting our efforts to pilot Art-A-Go-Gogh at St. Luke, then please contact debbie@imagineart.net to share your interest.
