Proceeds to benefit the Autism Society of Texas

Davis Gallery, in partnership with the Autism Society of Texas, is proud to host "The Possibility of Disability". This one night event will focus on three artists living with autism. Gregory Chabolla is a wood worker who specializes in creating intricate carvings on his scroll saw, Jane Manthei is known for her amazingly detailed and lifelike representational drawings and paintings, and Richmond Freeman paints in gouache, watercolor, and acrylics, and chooses his subject matter from photograph reference points that he captures around Austin. There will be complimentary drinks and snacks. Davis Gallery will be donating 45% of art sale proceeds from this event to the Autism Society of Texas, who have made it their mission to increase public awareness about the day-to-day issues faced by people on the spectrum, advocate for appropriate services for individuals across their lifespan, and to provide the latest information regarding treatment, education, research and advocacy.
