sTUDIO DEPARTMENTS

Imagine Art offers multiple open spaces where artists gather daily to produce.

Our studio is an open model space where artists work without walls.  Artists in our space are painting, drawing, creating digital art and also making ceramics, blown and fused glass.  Artistic Directors, volunteers and fellow artists provide peer support that helps the artists create unique works of art.  Finished works are shown in multiple gallery spaces and receptions celebrate works created in our studios.  Rotating exhibits welcome the public to purchase affordable works of art.

DRAWING + PAINTING

Artists access well lit spaces to work in 2-D media that includes drawing and painting with materials that include pen and ink, pencil, pastels, markers, watercolor, acrylic and oil paint.  Equipment and materials are available, such as standing and table easels, stretcher bars, paints and canvas.

CERAMICS + FUSED GLASS

The "clay cave" is tucked in the back of the warehouse and features a large community table and access to specialized tools and supplies.  A ceramic kiln offers weekly firings.

This department features a fused glass option.  Artists are asked to bring their own glass supplies, but have access to tools, space and a glass kiln for firing.

OPEN STUDIO

The open studio model provides shared space where artists gather in open spaces to make.  The studio offers some lockers and individual storage shelves.  Artists set up their workspaces on a first come basis.

Artists work independently and volunteers and Artistic Directors are present in the space to assist artist in developing strong bodies of work.

Imagine Art provides professional supplies and materials to artists with disabilities who are working in the space.  Artists without disabilities are asked to provide their own materials but often glean from the abundance of donated materials.
