Get involved with Imagine Art! You can partner with us in what we are doing in these three ways:
Imagine Art only serves artists that are professionally accessing the arts. This means that you intend to pursue a career in the arts and eventually make a living wage as an artist. It is important that member artists are intentionally pursuing an arts career as all of our services revolve around helping the artist to achieve success in this area. If you are a hobbyist, we can put you on the mailing list and contact if our services ever expand to serve that clientele. We expect artists to be in various stages of development. Therefore, it is okay if you are not yet ready to professionally access the arts, you are continuing to develop your work, your style, your technique, but each artist needs to be pursuing a vision as a professional artist to qualify for services.
Imagine Art expects member artists to answer the call to create on a regular basis - if not daily. We expect that artists are creating fresh art and evolving as an artist. Imagine Art expects that member artists share their resources, time, talents and strengths with the team! We ask that member artists find their niche in our group and give back regularly. We have a volunteer coordinator that can assist you in finding your place.

Imagine Art has created a Volunteer Program - but ours is a little unusual! In addition to recruiting volunteers to serve Imagine Art, we are recruting volunteers to serve others in the community! We still love to have our volunteers serving here, but we want to share you with the community as well!
Current Volunteer Opportunities
If you would like to get involved by volunteering with Imagine Art, contact us at 448-1840 or download this volunteer application. Talk with any staff or VISTA member for an overview of the positions. Commit to a position and a weekly schedule. Then schedule an appointment to being your first day.
Imagine Art operates on grants, contracts, fund raisers and private donations. Your funding directly supports the artists enabling Imagine Art to provide intense one on one services and consultation, materials, supplies and fees that reduce their barriers to success.
Private Donations
Your monthly or one-time individual donation directly enters the Artist Fund. Here, artists access funding to purchase art supplies, education, membership fees and exhibit materials
Annual Fund Raisers
An annual fundraiser is in the process of being developed.
Grants
Grants are our primary source of operations funding. Paying the light bill may not seem as glamorous as purchasing a canvas for an emerging artist, but there expenses are crucial to our daily operations.
Corporate Sponsorship
We invite businesses from our community to take part in supporting the artists we serve. Through direct cash donations, materials or volunteers, your business can impact the lives of our artists.
