What is it?

Imagine Art challenges you to create art during 2008!

To qualify for our challenge, each work must be smaller than 5 x 7 and follow a common theme and use a common material. For example: painted portraits on bottle tops, collage on matchbooks (is glue flammable?), painted pigs on beer coasters. The ideas are endless!

To participate each artist must create a demo sample and send a photo or mail a demo to Imagine Art along with an Pledge Card. There is no fee for current members to participate, but for all other participants we ask for a donation of any size.

Purpose

We recognize the need for revival in the hearts and souls of artists everywhere. Those old tapes that say, "I don't have time" or "that's impossible" must be crushed and abandoned. The daily creation challenge will awaken the artist and move them out of any rut they may find themselves in. After day 365 of creating just another piece of art for the sake of art itself - you will wake to find you are entirely all together different! You can make art anywhere, with anything and at any cost before the midnight bell tolls. Surely a habit shall be formed. No doubt you will break out of any mold you have created yourself into - out of sheer boredom you will find your art unleashed......

At the END of the Challenge, Imagine Art will host an event and exhibit celebrating those who accepted the challenge and succeeded! A super secret prize shall be awarded to the most creative.
